Tutorial and Ai

This week, we received one-on-one guidance from Sarah. Unfortunately, since my last portfolio failed, I spent a lot of time on Resubmission, so the questions that I could consult Sarah this time were very limited. So far, I have made my own project proposal, investigated relevant entrepreneurs, made a second-hand survey of my brand, listed ten direct and indirect competitors, and drawn the mood board of the brand. For me, the progress is already behind others, and I need to make better use of time to make up for the progress. In view of my own problem, I asked Sarah to help me read the project proposal and found that I did not use in-text citation and did not add my own reference at the end. Another problem is that the way I originally proposed to use cigarette butts to extract acetate fiber is not desirable. There is no problem with this topic itself, but considering the practicability of the action, there is still a problem. There are fewer and fewer smokers in the big cities, in London, and around the world, and it’s a very difficult project to get the acetate that’s extracted from cigarette butts into the fashion industry, because of the human cost and the fact that the amount of acetate that’s actually extracted is not enough, Therefore, the feasibility of my project proposal is low. According to Sarah’s suggestion, I will use the organic material cellulose acetate directly to complete my work. It’s a good start, and I think it’s a good topic to start my brand, which is related to sustainable fashion. In Sing’s class, we learned how to use Ai technology to complete some media tasks, including Insta story and SDS Video Clips.
